This board is a full featured embedded system that includes many of the functions commonly found on a typical desktop computer system. The card was designed for low-power operation in order to provide for long battery life in non-tethered applications.
The card included resources required to run Linux as the embedded OS. The open source project PPCBoot was used for the boot loader.
Fishcamp Engineering was responsible for all aspects of the hardware and software for this project.
