This image sensor card was designed for one of our OEM customers in the life sciences field. It was designed as an upgrade to our Starfish camera providing for a larger format image sensor with 16-bit pixel digitization.

Unique to this design was the capability to define multiple 'virtual' image sensors. We could partition the image sensor into several smaller regions each with its independent readout logic. Each of the smaller regions could be operated at a different exposure time setting.

The sensor card was able to be mounted in the same enclosure as our Starfish camera making for unique capabilities in a small package.
